Campaigner, speaker and writer Gina Martin is best known for founding and running the national campaign to make upskirting illegal and changing English and Welsh law by created the Voyeurism Act. Gibraltar, France, Germany have followed suit using the Voyeurism Act as a blueprint. Northern Ireland and Austria are reconsidering their laws too. 

In 2020 Gina worked pro-bono for model Nyome Nicholas-Williams strategising the campaign to change Instagram policy after Nyome's images, taken by Alex Cameron, were repeatedly deleted from the platform despite not breaking community guidelines. In December 2020 they were successful in changing Instagram's global breast squeezing policy that was disproportionately impacting Black plus-sized women.

Gina has written for The World Economic Forum, Stylist Magazine, The Evening Standard, BBC Online, and The Independent on topics of gender inequality, political activism and released her debut book BE THE CHANGE, a toolkit for activism in 2019.

Her newsletter The Good Chat covers social justice topics with simple, curated actions and has over 2k subscribers.

Her business Ginas Ink Girls raises money from marginalised communities through original artwork.

Gina is an ambassador for UN Women UK and advocates for regular people creating change in their communities and her TEDx talk "They told me to change my clothes. I changed the law" has amassed over 300,000 views.
